Our Friday Night & Sunday Morning Club is for Secondary age students from Years 7 - 12.
We meet on Fridays in Hampton Wick and make longer trips out at weekends. Bronze and Silver DofE students can also join this group. More details for DofE can be found at the bottom of this page
Our students want to explore their world and CPW is all about exploring and learning to see. Recent trips have been to Greenwich, Brighton, the O2 Cablecar, the City of London, Brick Lane, Hampton Court, Windsor, Bekonscot Model Village, the Olympic Park, and the Southbank as well as holding Light Painting, Photo-animation, Oil drop, Abstract, Chemigram, Silhouettes,
Depth of Field and Fast Shutter sessions.
It's rarely technically demanding but technique is important and we hardly ever work in Program or Auto mode. If students are keen to learn the technique, they will, but if they just want to take pictures they can do that too.
Our focus is on imagination and we teach students enough about Composition, F numbers, ISO and Shutter speeds to allow them to take creative control of their cameras.

SONY WORLD PHOTO @ SOMERSET HOUSE - BEKONSCOT MODEL VILLAGE
RICHMOND HILL SUNSET - BRIGHTON - MILLENIUM BRIDGE TO ST PAULS
This term we have a Saturday and a Sunday, and 3 long Friday evening sessions. DofE Photography - Summer 2024
Once again we are pleased to welcome DofE students into the Friday Night group. Click is the oldest Dofe Approved Activity Providers for photography in the country, and we've been teaching photograohy to young people longer than anyone else. By the end of this course students will be competent Dslr photographers. They will possess a variety of camera and picture taking skills that will underpin their love of photography. We teach simple Camera skills and compositional techniques and then we get out into the world with our cameras. Students will also learn smartphone skills
DofE students will produce a portfolio of at least 20 images at the end of the course
The Warehouse - Hampton Wick
Studio sessions are based at the St John's Warehouse in Hampton Wick. This wonderful Victorian building has hosted Click for the past 8 years. With fantastic internal spaces and located close to Kingston Bridge and Bushy Park, we think it's perfect !
